CESSNA 172, 182, & 206 CONFIGURATIONS

Although the most popular aircraft model tends to be the Cessna 172 for flight training purposes, we have designed our hardware to allow for additional configurations, which include the Cessna 172, 182, and the Cessna 206.

PRO ALUMINUM MAIN INSTRUMENT PANEL (MIP)

Although there are many options on the market for flight simulator panels, the one thing that sets us apart is our choice to stick with aluminum. ATF is focused on realism, and capturing the user experience received when flying a real aircraft. Most aircraft are constructed with aluminum MIP's. So why should your simulator be any different?

G1000 Cessna 172 Aluminum Panel Specs

The G1000 Cessna 172 Simulator Panel is made from 2.5mm Laser Cut Aluminum. The panel is designed based on a modern Cessna 172 G1000 Equipped Aircraft. The unit measures 40" in width and 19" in height. Some measurements have been slightly adjusted to allow for proper clearance of different thicknesses of desks.

PRO COCKPIT ENCLOSURE

The Pro Cockpit enclosure was created as a desktop mountable unit, that allows our customers to easily build a realistic and functional flight simulator. The enclose is made from CNC'd ABS plastic, which is then assembled in-house. The enclosure has the ability to remain open in the back for customizations and easy maintenance. However, the unit is designed with a back-mounted panel to enclose and hide most of the internal electronics.

Due to the texture of some of the ABS material, the glare shield has a very realistic appearance and is extremely durable while also being lightweight.

The glare shield features a smoother underside which allows the user to easily mount an LED strip which can then be tied into the lighting controls on the Pro G1000 Switch Panel.

ABS is also easy to manipulate or customize, which allows our customers to add their own unique flair to their simulators.

PRO ASSEMBLY PACKAGE

Many of our customers are very techy individuals and oftentimes want to assemble the unit on their end. However, we have had our fair share of customers who wish to have a realistic flight simulator, but do not have the know-how to build such a device. With that being said we are offering a pro assembly option. Here is what is included.

PACKAGE INCLUDES

  • Upholstery - Glare Sheild is upholstered by an aircraft interior upholstery expert.
  • The main panel and all hardware are assembled and wired for immediate use.
  • 12v Power Supply is installed inside the unit, to power the Hobbs meter.  The power supply can also be used for customizations such as cabin flood lights, and more.
  • Internally mounted power strip - Wired to Power Panel on back of the unit.
  • Internally mounted 16 port USB hub - Wired to additional parts on the back of the unit.
  • Professionally labeled and properly routed wires throughout the device for easy maintenance.
  • Custom Engraved power and USB panels on the rear of the device.

HOW MUCH DOES THE G1000 CESSNA 172 DESKTOP UNIT COST?

The basic unit features a full panel, all working hardware, SIMKITS USB Yoke System, full basic enclosure, working standby instrument bezels and screen. The unit however does require the customer to assemble the remainder of the unit by placing all hardware into the panel and running all cables and wiring how the customer sees fit.

When we take on a simulator project and place your order in the manufacturing queue, we are dedicating not only that spot in line but the real estate/floor space in our workshop, along with the storage space for components and hardware related to your build. We are also dedicating staff members to your project. This is why for any full simulator builds, or larger custom orders of components, we ask for a non-refundable deposit to hold your space in line. That nonrefundable helps cover the costs involved in the unlikely scenario of a cancelation.
